          Kirsteen Harris Jones come to Glyndwr on martch 5ths talk about children’s book illustration, and is now a freelance illustrator producing children’s books today.

          

She said:Being a freelance illustrator means the day consists of more than drawing, you have to be a secretary, mediator, accountant and illustrator.

       Based on my personal experience, I agree with her, because llustrating children's books is a highly competitive field, but also very interesting. I was lucky that I wrote the story of a children's magazine called 'extra-curricular life' can be adopted into this area is difficult, but is not no chance, opportunity is everywhere, the difficulty is that often easily missed. So where to start?

          Carefully observe the local library or bookstore children's books is not difficult to find the depth and breadth of children's books.            She said;  Client expectation-processcan be nerve wracking as client can change mind on unfinished work, if this happens be professional and try to put it right. They can also change the deadline but not always, and it will depend on contract.
